Job summary

Needham Bank is seeking a dedicated BSA/AML Risk Analyst to support the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and OFAC programs. You will perform data entry, alert reviews, investigations, and monitoring, ensuring timely regulatory reporting while collaborating with multiple business units.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in banking/risk/audit, strong Excel/communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of similar or related experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, forensic accounting, or related field; combination considered.
• Banking, risk, or audit experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook; comfortable with new software.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update risk data in internal systems with accuracy and completeness.
• Perform BSA/AML alert reviews, investigations, CTR/SAR filing, and due diligence.
• Monitor accounts/transactions using AML/fraud software and various reports.
• Research high‑risk transactions and ad-hoc reports to identify possible fraud or money laundering.
• Ensure regulatory report deadlines are met and customer monitoring is timely.
• Escalate significant findings to management as appropriate.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with laws and mitigate risk.
• Uphold BSA standards and adhere to confidentiality and ethics policies.
• Support the Bank’s core values and participate in additional duties as needed.
