Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Prior admissions committee experience at undergraduate or medical school level.
• Experience mentoring high school students in academic advising or college application support.
• Familiarity with BS/MD, direct medical, and pre-med admissions processes.
• Proven success guiding students through competitive undergraduate admissions.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide BS/MD and direct medical applicants through admissions: school selection, strategy, essays, resumes, recommendations, timelines, interviews.
• Help students strengthen academic and extracurricular profiles and develop compelling materials.
• Support students in researching best-fit BS/MD and undergraduate programs aligned with goals.
• Provide guidance on personal statements, supplemental essays, and interview prep while preserving authentic voice.
• Assist with project planning, timeline management, and progress tracking using internal tools.
• Stay up to date on BS/MD and undergraduate admissions trends to provide timely guidance.
