Job summary

Inspira Education Group is seeking a Senior Medical School Admissions Consultant, an experienced physician with deep knowledge of the medical school admissions process. You will mentor students, build application strategies, refine personal statements, and coach for interviews as they apply to top programs.

This is a part-time, remote, 1099 contract role that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience on a medical school admissions committee or admissions board.
• MD or DO degree completed.
• 5–7 years of experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and/or medical school admissions consulting.
• Passion for coaching.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills, particularly for medical school essays and personal statements.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in project management and applicant tracking.

Responsibilities

• Help prospective medical school candidates identify opportunities to build their profile and draft compelling admission documents.
• Provide strategic guidance on medical school selection, essays, resumes, recommendations, and interviews.
• Identify optimal medical programs for individual students and align research with their goals.
• Support students with project planning, application timeline management, and progress tracking.
• Stay up to date on medical school admissions processes and programs to advise clients on school selection.
