Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions seeks a Bravanese Interpreter to work from home in the United States as a phone interpreter. The role covers a broad range of industries including healthcare, government, insurance and finance, translating spoken language on demand.

You will receive industry‑leading training, support from a Senior Language Specialist, and access to interpreter and technology help desks in a certified ASTM/ISO environment, with advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Bravanese and English with cultural competency
• Ability to assess regional/accent differences for effective communication
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking for accurate interpretation
• Maintain neutrality and professionalism on potentially sensitive calls
• Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship requirement
• Background checks/drug screen may be required
• Able to read and write the requested languages - highly preferred

• Render accurate meanings according to interpretation conventions
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation

• Follow client instructions and respect client permissions
• Understand protocols for industries like Medical, Insurance, Finance, Law
• Represent cultural sensitivity in a diverse environment
• Handle calls that may be emotional or lengthy without breaks when needed
