Job summary

Allucent is seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist to join as Sr. Medical Director (remote). You will monitor safety and quality across clinical trials, serving as medical monitor for investigators and sites, with emphasis on neurology and related CNS disorders.

The role requires independence, strong communication, and experience in managing complex studies, with opportunities for remote/hybrid work depending on location.

Qualifications

• MD with board certification in neurology.
• Minimum 7–9 years of neurology-related experience.
• Experience in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s a plus.
• Knowledge of GxP and regulatory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical monitor support for assigned studies and address safety questions.
• Prepare Medical Monitoring and related plans prior to study start.
• Review SAEs, SUSARs and safety narratives; analyze events.
• Assist with MedDRA/W(H)O coding in trials.
• Review study documents for medical consistency (CTP, ICF, CSR).
• Support Data Safety Boards and dose-escalation meetings.
• Attend meetings and present project updates to investigators and clients.
• Provide 24/7 urgent medical support as needed.
• Train project teams on medical aspects of trials.
