Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network administration, with at least 2 years in blockchain network operations.
• Strong understanding of blockchain principles, consensus mechanisms, and distributed ledger technology.
• Experience setting up and managing nodes for various blockchain networks (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, PoS networks).
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools and techniques.
• Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor blockchain network performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Install, configure, and maintain blockchain nodes and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity and latency.
• Implement security best practices to protect network integrity and user data.
• Perform regular software updates and upgrades for blockchain protocols and node software.
• Manage network security measures such as firewalls and access controls.
• Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and incidents.
• Collaborate with development teams to address network-related issues and new features.
• Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
• Stay current with blockchain tech and network administration practices.
