Alignerr is seeking a Biotech Health Data Governance Lead to steer governance of biotech research and clinical trial data for AI training. The role emphasizes data accuracy, lineage, auditability, and regulatory readiness, with a fully remote, hourly contract structure.

You will design and enforce policies across classification, access, security, and metadata, collaborating with scientists, IT, compliance, and business teams while protecting patient information.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data governance programs in biotech, life sciences, clinical research, or regulated data environments.
• Deep understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory frameworks for research and clinical data.
• Ability to bridge scientific, technical, and business teams and translate requirements into enforceable policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of biotech research and clinical trial data with emphasis on accuracy, lineage, and auditability for analysis and regulatory submissions.
• Define and enforce data policies for classification, access, security, and metadata across research, regulatory, and partner teams.
• Enable secure, governed data access for analytics, innovation, and external collaborations while protecting patient information.
• Collaborate with scientific, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders to align data standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Support development of high-quality data pipelines to underpin AI model training in life sciences.
