Alignerr seeks a Biotech Health Data Governance Lead to shape AI training on life sciences data. You will ensure research and clinical data are accurate, traceable, and compliant for regulatory submissions and advanced analytics.

This fully remote, hourly contract role invites experienced professionals to drive governance across biotech, clinical research, and regulatory domains with impact and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data governance programs in biotech or life sciences.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and regulatory expectations for research data (FDA, ICH, GCP).
• Ability to work asynchronously in a remote environment.
• Strong focus on data quality and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Govern biotech research and clinical trial data for accuracy, lineage, and auditability.
• Define and enforce data policies across teams (classification, access controls, security, metadata).
• Enable governed data access for analytics and collaborations while protecting patient information.
• Identify data quality gaps and lead remediation across pipelines.
• Collaborate with scientists, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders to align data standards and workflows.
• Support AI model development by ensuring data meets quality and compliance standards.
