Culture Biosciences is seeking a Software Engineer with a passion for automation and controls to design, build, and maintain automation for bioreactor and bioprocessing systems. You will work across software, hardware, and systems teams to deliver reliable, scalable automation.

You should have 4+ years in the industry, experience with PID control, sensors/actuators, and cloud-enabled interfaces. This fully remote role offers a competitive base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of industry experience with software development.
• Strong understanding of classical control theory, PID control, and feedback loops.
• Ability to translate process requirements into reliable control logic and work across hardware/software boundaries.

Responsabilidades

• Tune and troubleshoot real-world control loops, diagnosing oscillation, lag and instability; improve automation reliability through monitoring and fault detection.
• Evolve hardware interfaces to enable high-level automation and AI interaction with physical equipment, with safety and validation.
• Develop and optimize feedback control systems, including PID loops, for stability and performance.
• Build software interfaces for sensors, actuators, embedded controllers, and orchestration systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, process, and software engineers to translate system requirements into reliable control implementations.
• Learn about biotechnology and bioprocess development.
