WCG is seeking a Biosafety Analyst to provide scientific review and analysis for institutions such as hospitals and laboratories, ensuring IBC review and approval of human gene transfer studies and related work. You will collaborate with IBC Specialists to prepare documents and coordinate with institutions.

You will educate clients on NIH guidelines and assist in strengthening biosafety programs, with emphasis on compliance and continuous process improvement within the IBC group.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degrees a plus.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a clinical, pharmaceutical, or biomedical research setting.
• Basic understanding of biomedical terminology, human disease, microbiology and bloodborne pathogens, and clinical safety measures.

Aufgaben

• Analyze training, facilities and operations of institutions to prepare for IBC review.
• Educate institutions on NIH Guidelines for recombinant/synthetic nucleic acids and related regs.
• Identify areas for improvement to comply with regulations and standards.
• Ensure studies are reviewed by the IBC before approval expiration.
• Identify training opportunities for new clients and conduct orientations.
