Job summary
Environmental Resources Management, Inc. (ERM) seeks a Biologist - Remote Desktop Analyst Coordinator to join our Impact Assessment Environmental Clearance team in a remote role based in Irvine, CA.
You will collaborate with a team of natural resources specialists to review biological and waters resources for construction sites in Southern California. The role is full-time for three months with a possibility of extension, requiring desktop reviews, data management, and adherence to ERM's safety
Qualifications
- BA/BS or Master’s degree in a natural science discipline.
- 2+ years field experience in California habitats, preferably Southern California.
- Ability to obtain client background clearance.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and data management systems.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform desktop reviews for environmental clearance work.
- Conduct desktop-based environmental constraints analyses.
- Adhere to ERM's management system, format and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the team and follow processes while identifying improvements.
- Process data in Microsoft Excel.
- Train and become proficient in client's Work Management System.
- Comply with ERM's safety program.
- Possibly conduct ArcGIS Online desktop constraints analyses.
- Learn quickly about digital resource layers in a fast-paced environment.
