Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is recruiting a USPTO-registered Patent Attorney based in Denver, CO with expertise in bioinformatics, computational biology, AI, or related fields. This role offers an alternative to traditional partnership-track positions with a lower billable hour requirement.

You will prosecute patents, develop strategies with clients, and draft complex applications while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a flexible, hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• At least three years of patent prosecution experience.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (MS or PhD) preferred.
• Admission or qualification for admission to the state bar of the primary office location.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in technical writing.
• Strong educational or industry background in bioinformatics, computational biology, AI, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patent prosecution in bioinformatics and related fields.
• Collaborate with clients to develop patent strategies.
