Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computational Biology or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and R with Bash scripting.
• Experience with omics data quality control and managing data in LIMS/registries.

Responsibilities

• Produce manuscript-quality reports and figures for diverse audiences.
• Translate high-throughput analysis outputs into hypotheses and actions.
• Perform statistical analyses including compositional data methods and tests.
• Create visualizations (scatter, bar, box, heatmaps) and clustering dendrograms.
• Apply unsupervised learning and manage N-dimensional data structures.
• Install, run, and troubleshoot bioinformatics workflows (Conda, Nextflow, QIIME2).
• Collaborate with colleagues to import/export data into data registries.
• Build and evaluate pangenomes and perform protein annotation to support comparative genomics.
