Job summary

Spatial BIM LLC is seeking a BIM Designer to develop and coordinate mechanical and plumbing models across commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects. You will work with pipefitters and plumbers who moved into BIM, so field-earned judgment matters as much as software skill here.

This role is based in Norway, Iowa with occasional site visits, and offers a hands-on path from field experience to BIM coordination. Training for Revit/Navisworks is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Field experience in mechanical/plumbing trades is highly valued.
• Proficiency with Revit and/or Navisworks; training available for right candidate.
• Strong ability to read construction drawings and understand field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and plumbing models in Revit from design docs and site conditions.
• Represent the trade in BIM coordination meetings, resolving clashes with other disciplines.
• Produce fabrication and installation drawings suitable for field use.
• Communicate with project managers, foremen, and other trade partners throughout the project.
