Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage the monthly billing cycle, including issuing invoices for an assigned number of attorneys, whether remotely or at locations. You will ensure accuracy, compile supporting documentation, and respond to billing inquiries in a timely manner.

This role requires 2+ years of legal billing experience, familiarity with Elite 3E and eBillingHub, and proficiency in MS Office. Overtime and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s preferred.
• 2+ years of legal billing and client invoicing experience.
• Experience with Elite 3E, electronic billing processes and procedures.
• Familiarity with eBillingHub and third‑party e-billing vendors.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Word).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the monthly billing cycle and issue invoices.
• Review and edit monthly proformas; adjust time and cost entries.
• Ensure rate accuracy and apply funds as required.
• Finalize and distribute invoices per guidelines.
• Respond to billing inquiries from attorneys and clients.
• Set up matters for e-billing and resolve disputes.
• Prepare client accruals and budgets on request.
