Job summary

Soleo Health is seeking a Billing Specialist to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy. This remote position concentrates on insurance and self-pay billing (excluding Medicare) and submitting electronic and paper claims.

Responsibilities include preparing accurate claims, following up on rejections, and ensuring timely submission and maximum reimbursement while maintaining strong customer service with internal teams and payers.

Qualifications

• 2 years of home infusion billing experience is required.
• Knowledge of HCPC coding and medical terminology.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must be computer literate with solid phone and email skills.
• Familiarity with ICD10, CPT, NCCI and standard billing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate medical claims based on contracted agreements for payers.
• Submit electronic and paper claims, and follow up on rejections.
• Review claims pricing and identify discrepancies per fee schedules.
• Bill manufacturer copays and manage portal entries or paper billing.
• Coordinate with the pharmacy team to resolve PBM issues and ensure timely revenue.
