Job summary

Aegis Health is seeking a Billing Specialist for our Home Health and Hospice programs in a hybrid Phoenix area role. You will manage claims from eligibility through payment, collaborate with billing leadership, intake, clinical teams, QA, finance and compliance.

The role requires thorough understanding of Medicare/Medicaid, NOAs/NOEs, and payer rules; you will monitor notices, investigate denials, and produce regular revenue reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing for Home Health and Hospice programs across Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payers.
• Ability to investigate billing issues and resolve claims.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned Home Health and Hospice billing queues from eligibility to final claim and account closure.
• Prepare, submit, and track Medicare notices when applicable; monitor acceptance and resolve errors.
