Job summary

NCD is seeking a Billing Operations Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role owns the full lifecycle of billing accuracy, payment file processing, partner analytics, and exception resolution across NCD's member and carrier ecosystem, while surfacing trends to prevent disruptions.

The ideal candidate has a foundation in operations or billing, takes pride in precise processes, and thrives in an environment where data informs decisions and improves member experience and carrier

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in billing operations or related field.
• Detail-oriented with a track record of owning recurring processes.
• Experience with enrollment and billing platforms; quick to learn proprietary systems.
• Clear written communication for tickets, escalation notes, and updates.
• Ability to manage multiple daily/weekly workstreams simultaneously.
• Proactive and solution-driven: flag issues early and propose paths forward.

Responsibilities

• Own billing exception identification, triage, and resolution end to end.
• Run daily declines monitoring and weekly trend reporting by agency, product, and carrier.
• Process monthly payment files for all carriers; ensure accuracy between NMI and E123.
• Collaborate with Member Care, Operations, and carrier partners; communicate billing status.
• Other duties as assigned.
