Zusammenfassung

Cognizant is seeking a Billing Support Specialist for a remote US-based role. You will support project managers by preparing and issuing invoices, respond to billing inquiries, and review billing information for accuracy in accordance with customer guidelines.

You will troubleshoot discrepancies, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with overtime on the 1st–4th of each month.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, specifically from the 1st through the 4th of each month, regardless of whether those dates fall on a weekday, weekend, or holiday.

• Provide billing support to Project Managers by preparing and issuing invoices in accordance with customer requirements and project billing schedules.
• Respond to billing inquiries and resolve invoice-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Review billing information for accuracy and ensure compliance with customer guidelines and internal processes.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot billing discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing matters.
