Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to join the finance and operations team. This remote role supports project managers by issuing invoices, answering billing inquiries, and ensuring accuracy per customer guidelines.

You will troubleshoot discrepancies, maintain stakeholder communications, and help optimize billing workflows in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide billing support to Project Managers by preparing and issuing invoices in accordance with customer requirements and project billing schedules.
• Respond to billing inquiries and resolve invoice-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Review billing information for accuracy and ensure compliance with customer guidelines and internal processes.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot billing discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing matters.
