What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Generate and distribute prebills/proformas, assist with month-end processing, and manage billing timelines
• Prepare attorney/client invoices, including various billing types such as fixed fee and contingency
• Ensure accuracy of billing work products and manage client billing requirements
• Assist customers with billing inquiries and troubleshoot related issues
• Review and edit time entries to comply with client guidelines
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Associates Degree or advanced degree preferred in Business, Accounting, or Finance; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Minimum of two years of billing experience in a law firm or professional organization
• Proficiency in creating spreadsheets and manipulating data for report generation
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present results to senior management
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with client Document Management Systems (DMS)
• Familiarity with Aderant or Elite/Elite 3E and/or business intelligence products
• Proficiency with a 10-key calculator
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
