Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Patient Services Associate I in Orlando, FL to handle scheduling radiology appointments and pre-registration calls. You will follow scripts, collect accurate patient data, and enter it into scheduling systems while aiming for one-call resolution and excellent customer service.

Required is a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 6 months of medical or related experience and strong communication skills to interact with patients and physicians. Office environment, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy and experience with general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Takes incoming calls to schedule Radiology appointments and contacts patients and referring physician offices.
• Follows prescribed scripts to provide standardized information during scheduling/pre-registration.
• Ensures gathering of accurate patient data required for scheduling; enters information into computer systems.
