Job summary

Alameda Alliance is seeking a motivated Member Services Representative I to be the frontline contact for members, providers, and inquiries. The role emphasizes delivering courteous, accurate information about benefits, eligibility, and services while documenting all interactions in the CRM system.

The MSR I will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues, de-escalate concerns, and uphold regulatory and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in health care or managed care settings is a plus.
• Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced inquiries with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for members, providers, and inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, and services.
• Respond to inquiries via calls, emails, chats, or letters and document interactions in the CRM system.
• De-escalate difficult calls and provide clear, concise information to guide members.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely responses and compliance.
