Job summary

New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC) is seeking a fully remote Call Center Representative fluent in English and Spanish. The role involves handling inbound calls, scheduling and follow-ups, and triaging inquiries with care.

Training will be conducted in person at the Bronx clinic before transitioning to remote work. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a fast-paced call center, a high school diploma, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 1–2 years of Call Center Representative experience in a fast-paced office, preferably medical or community mental health.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to learn new software and adapt quickly.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Answer all inbound calls with professional customer service.
• Follow up on inbound calls to resolve issues and relay messages.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and follow-up on missed appointments.
• Triage calls to determine urgency and escalate to management or clinical supervisors as needed.
• Document call logs and complete surveys/reports as required.
• Maintain daily/weekly phone operation metrics and HIPAA compliance.
