Job summary

Fluent Trade Technologies Limited is seeking a Big Data & Infrastructure Architect to lead the data architecture for our FX Trading Analytics platform. You will be the primary authority on the big-data engine powering real-time and historical liquidity analysis.

This remote role, based in Ukraine per the ad, demands strong experience with high-velocity data, scalable databases, and low-latency optimization. You will collaborate across teams to ensure the data layer meets product requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale time-series data and real-time analytics.
• Ability to optimize queries over billions of rows.
• Strong Linux and system-level performance tuning skills.
• Ability to translate metrics into data structures without code.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & tool selection for Big Data/NoSQL engine.
• Own installation, configuration, scaling, and maintenance of the database environment.
• Design schema and storage strategy for massive datasets.
• Build and tune time-series queries for sub-second responses.
• Provide knowledge leadership to GUI developers and team members.
• Collaborate with team leader and GUI developers to ensure data infrastructure supports product requirements.
