Job summary

Serco Group seeks a BI Developer to design and build Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards, delivering data models and insights for informed decision-making. You will bridge business requirements with technical implementation, working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include end-to-end BI solutions, data integration, and documentation, using SQL and Python where needed. A strong emphasis on data quality and best practices in reporting is required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
• Proven experience developing BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud
• A strong understanding of data modelling, reporting, and analytical techniques
• Experience working with SAP data and a good understanding of SAP business processes
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Knowledge of SQL and Python would be advantageous
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards, reports, and data models to support business decision-making
• Engaging with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine reporting and analytics requirements
• Designing and delivering end-to-end BI solutions, from requirements through to deployment and support
• Analysing and integrating data from SAP and other enterprise systems
• Developing and optimising data transformation and data integration processes
• Applying data modelling, reporting, and visualisation best practice
• Using Python and SQL for data analysis, automation, and data quality activities where required
• Producing technical documentation and supporting knowledge transfer to users and support teams
• Collaborating with business and technical teams to continuously improve reporting and analytics capability
• Desirable Experience with SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Data Services.
