Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Business Information Analyst to partner with stakeholders across assets, engineering and supply chain to deliver data-driven BI solutions. The role focuses on developing dashboards in Power BI and SQL, automating reporting, and enabling strategic decision-making in a remote setting with regular visits to the Andover site.

You will gain exposure to large-scale defence programmes, drive continuous improvement, and work with diverse teams to translate requirements

Qualifications

• Experience developing BI, analytics or reporting solutions using Power BI/SQL/Tableau/QlikView or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into practical data solutions.
• Experience working with large operational, engineering, asset management, supply chain or ERP datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational, asset management and logistics data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop and enhance BI dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI and SQL.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Programme teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, forecasting and process optimisation.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing accurate and insightful performance reporting.
