Job summary

Centene Corporation in North Carolina seeks a Behavioral Health Utilization Review Supervisor to lead the BH UR clinicians and oversee day-to-day operations of the utilization management team. This remote role requires NC residency and state licensure in one of several BH professions or RN with licensure.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with rotating weekend on-call; responsibilities include monitoring performance, guiding policy, and ensuring compliant, high-quality BH care for

Qualifications

• Requires Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience.
• Licensure in BH fields or RN licensure with state/compact licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors BH utilization review clinicians and ensures compliance with guidelines.
• Oversees BH utilization management resources to meet performance and quality standards.
• Provides coaching and guidance to the team for optimal performance.
• Onboards, hires, and trains BH utilization management team members.
• Leads change initiatives and communicates with peers, leaders, and providers.
