Job summary

Centene seeks a Supervisor of Behavioral Health Utilization Management to oversee the BH UM clinicians and manage day-to-day operations of the team. This leadership role emphasizes compliance, quality, and coaching.

Responsibilities include monitoring resources, resolving complex member issues, developing policies, onboarding new staff, and staying current with BH regulations and accreditation standards. Must reside in North Carolina and be willing to work remotely.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or bachelor’s degree required.
• Supervisory/leadership experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Knowledge of BH utilization management guidelines and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BH utilization review clinicians and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Monitor and track BH UM resources for quality and efficiency.
• Resolve complex BH care member issues with the team.
• Develop and implement UM policies, procedures and guidelines.
