CVS Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Utilization Management Clinician for a 100% remote role across the United States. You will review preauthorization requests, coordinate decisions with providers, and manage crisis calls while supporting high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health care.

A valid independent license and 3+ years of experience are required. The position offers a 40-hour week with a 12.5% shift differential, holidays required, and benefits in a fully remote environment

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted independent behavioral health license in your state.
• 3+ years post-licensure behavioral health experience.
• Experience with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Ability to manage telephonic and computer-based work simultaneously.
• High-speed internet service (min 25 Mbps down / 3 Mbps up).

Responsabilités

• Review preauthorization requests for behavioral health services using guidelines and clinical judgment.
• Coordinate and communicate utilization management decisions with providers and stakeholders.
• Manage crisis calls and assess risk, including suicide risk and welfare checks when necessary.
• Apply clinical expertise to support quality and cost-effective care and positive member outcomes.
• Work in a fast-paced, queue-based environment with multiple priorities.
• Collaborate with providers and care teams to facilitate appropriate levels of care.

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
