CVS Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Utilization Management Clinician for a 100% remote role across the United States. You will review requests, coordinate decisions, and ensure timely and appropriate behavioral health services, while supporting patient outcomes.

The role offers a 12.5% shift differential and requires licensure in your state, with 3+ years of behavioral health experience and crisis management.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted behavioral health license in the resident state (e.g., LCSW/LISW/LMSW, LPC/LMHC/LCMHC, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist, RN).
• Minimum 3+ years post-licensure behavioral health experience.
• Experience with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Ability to manage telephonic and computer-based work with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Review preauthorization requests using evidence-based guidelines and clinical judgment.
• Coordinate utilization management decisions with providers and stakeholders.
• Assess crisis risk and coordinate appropriate interventions, including escalation when needed.
• Support quality and cost-effective care to improve member outcomes.
• Work in a fast-paced queue-based environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure appropriate levels of care.
