Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority seeks a Behavioral Health Data Liaison (Management Analyst 5) to bridge behavioral health programs and technology, improving data collection, reporting, and sharing across the agency with emphasis on substance use, mental health, and recovery services in Washington.

The role requires analytic expertise, process improvement leadership, and collaboration with internal divisions and external partners to ensure data reliability and compliance with state laws

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Services, Public or Healthcare Administration, Business or a related field with five years of required experience
• Two or more years of public sector project management or data analysis experience is preferred
• Excellent communications, including technical writing and public speaking

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation on division data collection and reporting strategies.
• Lead process improvement efforts to standardize data infrastructure and reporting.
• Oversee data source mapping, landscape analysis, and documentation across DBHR and related divisions.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure data reliability for contracts and policy inquiries.
• Produce regular reports and facilitate reviews with leadership.
