Job summary

MPG is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Clinician to join our integrated primary care team. This fully remote role requires an active California license and delivers DSM-5-TR diagnoses, psychotherapy, and coordination with psychiatry and primary care across locations in California.

The role emphasizes evidence‑based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT) and crisis management, with Pacific Time hours and a fully remote setup offering schedule flexibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent) is required.
• 3+ years post-licensure providing psychotherapy across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish DSM-5-TR diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse mental health and substance use conditions.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence‑based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PST, trauma‑focused therapy).
• Manage patient risk through safety assessments, crisis intervention, and higher‑level‑of‑care coordination.
• Partner with psychiatry, primary care, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, whole‑person care.
• Mentor Behavioral Health Consultants and junior clinical staff.
• Maintain timely, accurate EHR documentation in compliance with licensing and regulatory standards.
