Qualifications

• Education: Doctoral or Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
• Ability to obtain VA licensure for remote/hybrid work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Models and trains staff in Positive Behavior Support principles.
• Serves on Interdisciplinary Teams providing expertise on behavioral issues.
• Responsible for Behavior Plan assessment, design, training, monitoring and reporting.
• Conducts descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments and interpretations.
• Delivers direct behavioral treatment via replacement skills, social skills, and crisis de-escalation.
• Monitors restraint use and provides training to reduce it.
• Monitors challenging behavior and participates in relevant committees.
• Provides individualized services to meet treatment needs for Specialty IC clinics.
• Learn and follow all policies and procedures.
