Job summary

NBA Social & Digital Content is seeking a proactive individual to help identify, create, and publish engaging basketball content across global social platforms. You’ll work within a fast-paced, collaborative team, coordinating with internal departments and publishing teams to ensure timely promotion of initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings knowledge of basketball history and analytics, strong project management basics, and a passion for storytelling.

Qualifications

• Knowledge about the NBA, its players, teams, stats and history.
• Experience creating basketball content.
• Strong understanding of the NBA’s social voice.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing requests for promotional content across NBA social platforms.
• Meet with internal departments about promotional posts.
• Keep track of planned promotional posts in the content calendar.
• Develop content ideas around promotional posts.
• Draft copy for video, graphics, and social posts.
• Distribute communication about content plans to publishing team.
• Document meeting notes around promotional plans.
• Stay on top of social trends to inform content creation for social platforms.
