Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a remote Banner Administrator II to support and maintain Banner ERP and Student Information Systems in a complex enterprise environment.

This role focuses on Banner administration, application support, and systems automation while handling Linux administration, database operations, and security management. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of Banner ERP experience, strong Linux skills, and proficiency in Shell scripting or Python.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Banner ERP administration or support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting application, database, and system issues.
• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Experience with Shell scripting and/or Python.
• Experience supporting ERP security, user provisioning, and access controls.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing. Knowledge of job scheduling and automation platforms.
• SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer support skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Banner ERP and Student Information Systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and data integrity issues
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and scheduled processes
• Manage Linux server administration and ongoing system maintenance
• Monitor and maintain ERP security, user access, and compliance requirements
• Support disaster recovery testing and documentation efforts
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business users to support enterprise systems
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration initiatives
