Job summary

FSA Federal is seeking a midlevel Auditor/Financial Analyst III to support the US Trustee Program Region 4 remotely, covering MD, VA, DC, and WV. The role focuses on assessing debtors’ financials, reviewing bankruptcy-related documents, and ensuring compliance with standard practices.

Requires ten years’ experience, a Bachelor's degree (Graduate degree preferred), and professional certifications (CIRA, CFE, CPA).

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience in auditing or financial analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Certifications: CIRA, CFE, CPA (one or more required).

Responsibilities

• Examine corporate structures, including assets and liabilities, to assess feasibility of debtor operating plans.
• Assist counsel in reviews/analysis of bankruptcy cases and document adequacy.
• Perform technical review of reports and assist analysis of bankruptcy cases.
• Review trustee audits for thoroughness and identify weaknesses needing action.
• Review trustee accounting statements to ensure bond requirements are met.
• Perform other legal/financial tasks as directed by the USTP regional office.
