Job summary

Brock & Scott, PLLC is seeking an Attorney for its Bankruptcy Department in South Carolina. The attorney will oversee drafting and reviewing bankruptcy documents and collaborate with staff to manage plan confirmations, motions, and related proceedings.

Minimum 2–5 years of creditors' rights experience, SC bar admission, and strong communication are essential. Travel to circuits across the state may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• J.D. required and admitted to SC bar.
• 2–5 years of bankruptcy/insolvency experience.
• Knowledge of secured creditor issues.
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Represent creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
• Review notices, pleadings, and other documents.
• Attend and argue motions and hearings in SC courts.
• Coordinate with support staff on bankruptcy matters.
• Travel within South Carolina as needed.
