Elgen Staffing seeks an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney – Associate for a prestigious nationwide law firm in Atlanta. The role involves handling bankruptcy matters, including motions, objections and appeals, with regular court appearances.

The ideal candidate has a JD, GA Bar license, and 1–10 years of bankruptcy experience, especially in Chapter 7/13. Remote work is available, with periodic in‑person court appearances in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor of Law with Georgia Bar License is required.
• Licensed to practice law in jurisdiction and admitted to GA Bar.
• Experience in Chapter 7 and 13 matters, including court appearances.
• Preference for Chapter 11, adversary proceedings and multi‑jurisdiction admission.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Motions, Objections, Claims and Orders in Bankruptcy matters.
• Defend litigated matters, including adversary complaints and appeals.
• Attend court hearings related to bankruptcy representations.
• Manage case load to meet client goals and deadlines.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
