Job summary

BanQsi is hiring a Banking Conversion Programmer to design, develop, and execute data conversion solutions for financial institutions implementing the Fiserv DNA core banking platform. Two experts are sought: one for deposits and one for loans, with other areas reviewed as needed.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Business Data Analysts, and clients to develop conversion routines, validate data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful implementation of critical banking

Qualifications

• Experience developing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
• Strong experience with Oracle databases and relational concepts.
• Experience with Fiserv DNA implementations and backend data tables.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries, procedures, packages, and performance tuning.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Experience working independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data conversion programs using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Convert and validate banking data including CIFs, deposits, loans, and related records.
• Analyze donor system data and develop SQL-based transformation logic for migration to Fiserv DNA.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and QA testing throughout the lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot conversion issues and develop effective technical solutions.
• Produce conversion reports and assist with data cleanup activities.
• Collaborate with Consultants, Data Analysts, PMs, and client teams to ensure delivery.
• Participate in implementation milestones, including occasional evening/weekend activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of conversion tools and processes.
