Job summary

BanQsi Inc. is seeking a Banking Conversion Programmer to design, develop, and execute data conversion solutions for financial institutions implementing the Fiserv DNA core banking platform.

Two expert tracks: deposits and loans, with collaboration across PMs, analysts, and clients. You will create conversion routines, validate data integrity, troubleshoot complex issues, and support successful platform migrations in a fully remote team.

Qualifications

• Experience developing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
• Strong experience with Oracle databases and relational concepts.
• Experience with Fiserv DNA implementations, back-end data tables.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, and performance tuning.

• Understanding of banking operations: deposits, loans, debit and credit cards.

• Knowledge of banking regulations, data privacy requirements, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data conversion programs using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Convert and validate banking data, including deposits and loan accounts, as well as records and relationships.
• Analyze donor system data and develop SQL-based transformation and conversion logic for migration to the Fiserv DNA platform.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance testing throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot conversion issues and develop effective technical solutions.
• Produce conversion reports and assist with data cleanup activities.
• Collaborate with Consultants, Data Analysts, Project Managers, and client teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in implementation milestones, including occasional evening or weekend conversion activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of conversion tools, processes, and documentation.

Job description

As a Banking Conversion Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing data conversion solutions for financial institutions implementing the Fiserv DNA core banking platform. We are looking for two experts: one in the deposit area, and the other in the loans area. Other areas of skills will be reviewed as well.

Working closely with Project Managers, Business Data Analysts, and clients, you will develop conversion routines, validate data integrity, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure successful implementation of critical banking data. This is a highly collaborative role that combines software development, database programming, data analysis, and client-facing consulting.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain data conversion programs using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Convert and validate banking data, including:
• Consumer and commercial deposit accounts
• Consumer and commercial loan accounts
• Person and organization records
• Ownership relationships
• Cards
• Electronic agreements
• Other core banking data
• Analyze donor system data and develop SQL-based transformation and conversion logic for migration to the Fiserv DNA platform.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance testing throughout the implementation lifecycle.
