Jobgether Partner in the United States is seeking a Background Investigator I for a part-time, on-call role conducted remotely. You will interview subjects, review records, and gather information to assess backgrounds and suitability while maintaining strict confidentiality.

You will complete intensive virtual training and shadowing with experienced investigators, with local travel as needed to support federal security missions and public trust objectives.

Formación

• A bachelor's degree or at least four years of general professional experience demonstrating increasing responsibility in problem-solving, planning, organizing work, and effective oral and written communication.
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 5 background investigation; Top Secret clearance preferred.
• National Security Commitment: Strong interest in supporting national security initiatives with integrity and professionalism.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Report Writing: Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and professional writing conventions.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive background investigation interviews with subjects, employers, references, and others who may have relevant information.
• Use virtual teleconferencing, telephone interviews, and in-person meetings to collect accurate information.
• Review records to establish background, reputation, character, suitability, and qualifications.
• Identify and resolve material issues and discrepancies to ensure findings are complete and supported.
• Produce concise written reports and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Travel locally as required and participate in intensive virtual training and mentorship.
