Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a software engineer to join the analytics activation team. You will analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications, delivering API-enabled apps with event-driven architecture and robust production support.

Role requires 5+ years of Java development, SQL with Oracle/Snowflake, and experience with DevSecOps and Kubernetes. Strong agile collaboration and a learning mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of development experience using Java.
• Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures; knowledge of Oracle and Snowflake.
• 2+ years of production support, infrastructure engineering or administration experience.
• Experience with DevSecOps and Kubernetes or other container-based deployment pipelines.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, build things and experiment.
• Experience working on product teams and awareness of agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications.
• Provide technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
• Work with technical tools available for systems development and support.
• Maintain awareness of technical industry trends as they apply to Huntington.
• Identify training needs or train less experienced staff.
• Serve as project leader for specific projects.
