Dragos is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineering Manager to lead teams building microservice architectures, data processing pipelines, and platform components. The role focuses on streaming data ingest, detection processing, and platform APIs with strong leadership and business acumen.

You will mentor engineers, drive backend excellence, and collaborate closely with product teams. Prior experience in cybersecurity or OT/ICS environments is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading and building technical teams.
• 5+ years developing software with microservice architectures.
• Hands-on backend engineering with strong distributed systems fundamentals. Rust preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Backend Engineering team and ensure health of the backend skill community.
• Mentor engineers, foster technical growth and career development.
• Champion the backend components of the Dragos Platform and collaborate with product/tech leads.
• Provide input during design, development, testing, and release for production deployments.
