Job summary

RevenueCat, a remote-first backend team, is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, ship and support end-to-end features that help developers grow their subscription businesses.

You will work across a scalable stack, write clean SQL, and ship high-quality code with solid testing in a fully remote culture.

In 6–12 months you’ll lead major features, improve reliability, and mentor teammates while collaborating across time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer designing and maintaining complex/large systems.
• Comfortable writing and debugging SQL.
• Enjoy debugging and finding root causes of production issues.
• Love shipping high-quality products.
• Excellent command of at least one mainstream programming language.
• Able to ship high-quality code with good testing practices in iterative cycles.
• Collaborates well in a fully-remote culture and communicates effectively.
• Proactive and able to fix issues or propose improvements.
• Versatile and fast learner.
