Job summary

Zoom is seeking a software engineer to own and build backend APIs, focusing on scalable infrastructure and reliable systems. You’ll work on data models, testing, and validation while collaborating with frontend and backend engineers in a structured hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Held a Bachelor's or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable with AWS, Postgres, and Node.js.
• Experience with TypeGraphQL, Apollo/Express, and React.

Responsibilities

• Developing infrastructure, data models, features, and the overall system to build APIs, and maintain the codebase to resolve customer issues.
• Writing well-designed, testable code, ensuring systems are efficient, optimized, scalable, and reliable.
• Developing software testing and validation procedures and documentation.
• Ensuring Core internal capabilities, infrastructure, and ML systems serve customer and team needs.
• Analyzing, problem-solve, and design systems with observability, SLA, and scalability in mind.
