Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to modernize legacy monoliths into scalable microservices. You will design and implement RESTful APIs, lead monolith decomposition, and shape CI/CD practices in a fully remote setup.

You’ll work with .NET/C# or Java, collaborating with global teams to deliver high-performance systems, stay aligned with architectural standards, and grow in a diverse, 100% remote environment.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Backend Engineering or related roles.
Experience modernizing legacy monoliths into microservices.
Strong in .NET/C# or Java ecosystems with refactoring skills.
Experience designing APIs, REST migrations, and monolith decomposition.
Knowledge of CI/CD adoption and automated pipelines.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Design and implement migration from monoliths to microservices.
Lead decomposition of legacy code ensuring stability and data integrity.
Develop robust RESTful APIs for inter-service communication.
Apply refactoring to improve quality, maintainability, and performance.
Integrate CI/CD practices to speed up deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set standards.
