Qualifications

• 4+ years in Backend Engineering with PHP.
• Proven experience with PHP 7.4+/8+ and MVC frameworks (Laravel/Symfony).
• Strong RESTful API design and database proficiency (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience modernizing legacy code and improving performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in PHP 7.4+/8+.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party integration.
• Lead refactoring to improve maintainability, performance, and security.
• Manage and optimize database schemas and queries (MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement requirements.
• Ensure code quality with testing, reviews, and best practices.
