Job summary

Healthcare Fraud Shield, headquartered in Chesterfield, MO, seeks a Backend Software Engineer to develop and maintain data import tasks and complex workflows. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will own projects end-to-end, design and optimize T-SQL scripts for high-volume data processing, and collaborate with the implementation team while contributing to security and privacy compliance. Remote work eligibility is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of T-SQL or related database development in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET 8+.
• Ability to independently manage tasks and prioritize in a demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of assigned projects and deliver high-quality solutions from development through deployment and support.
• Design, develop, and maintain claim import implementations.
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and support the scoring workflow processes.
• Ensure data security and confidentiality in compliance with company standards.
• Participate in an on-call support rotation for after-hours coverage.
