Job summary

Emboss Specialty is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain healthcare applications across the full-stack Microsoft ecosystem. You will build secure APIs, data integrations, and scalable services that support healthcare operations and data exchange.

The role requires deep expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, SQL Server, and modern front-end technologies, plus experience with healthcare EDI and distributed architectures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in application development, including senior-level ownership of complex healthcare solutions.
• Deep proficiency across the Microsoft development stack, including C#, .NET Framework/.NET, ASP.NET, Web API or MVC, Visual Studio, and SQL Server.
• Strong experience designing RESTful services, APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures, with a solid understanding of security, resiliency, scalability, and asynchronous processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and support end-to-end healthcare applications across interfaces, APIs, and data layers using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, and modern front-end technologies.
• Build and evolve secure, reliable APIs and microservices for healthcare operations, data exchange, and interoperability.
• Design, optimize, and support SQL Server databases, data models, queries, and stored procedures to improve performance and maintainability.
